Master Plan Public Comment Jan. 7th

In conjunction with the St. Charles County Council Meeting on Monday, Jan. 7th, there will be opportunity for public comment on the 2030 Master Plan. In the proposed plan, the Agricultural Zoning area is shrinking, and Rural Residential (3-acre lot size) is moving father South - beyond Hwy. F.

County Councilman Joe Brazil opposed the change, believing that more of the large acre, agricultural zoning area should be preserved. He also believes that the topography of southwestern St. Charles County is not conducive to filling the in all the current open area with 3-acre housing developments.
