The City of New Melle is holding its regular P & Z Meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the New Melle City Hall, 145 Almeling Street, New Melle, MO 63365.

OPEN FORUM
Each person addressing the Planning and Zoning Commission shall give his/her name and address. Remarks shall be addressed to the Commission as a whole and not to any individual member and no question shall be asked any individual member except through the presiding officer. No person other than the Commissioners and the person having the floor shall be permitted to enter into discussion without the permission of the presiding officer.

OLD BUSINESS/DISCUSSION
1. Response to the question raised at the previous P&Z Meeting regarding residency for P&Z Commission application: Per Section 89.320 RSMo (Missouri State Statute) it specifically states, ‘citizen member’. Therefore, any applicants must be a resident of the City of New Melle.
2. The Variance Requests for Straatmann Feed set-back adjustments and for 120 Peter St. set-back adjustments will be heard in a Public Hearing on November 14, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 145 Almeling St., New Melle, MO.

NEW BUSINESS
1. Approve the Site Plan for Peoples Bank for recommendation to the Board of Aldermen. See below. 

2. Discussion regarding R-1B Zoning Regulations and permitted buildings/structures.

The next Planning and Zoning Meeting will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023, 7:00 p.m.
