Mark your calendars. The Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce will host the Augusta Bottoms Festival—formerly known as the Augusta Bier Bottoms Festival—on November 7 from 12 to 5 p.m. This year’s event will showcase local breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
Tickets are $40 and include samples from local vendors and a free commemorative glass. A designated-driver ticket is also available for $12.
The festival will be held in the Augusta Bottoms. Take Public Street to the Augusta Trailhead to access the grounds, and enjoy live music by Drawl from 1 to 4 p.m. Many of the items sampled will also be available for purchase. Other items, including cigars, commemorative T-shirts, food, and other vendor items, will be available for purchase.
Vendors scheduled to participate include Sugar Creek, Noboleis, Stone Hill, Good News, Friendship, Garage Brewers, Judgment Tree, Stone Ledge, and Wood Hat, among many others. The vendor list is still growing. See the ad on page 15 for details.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce. The GACC uses those funds to sponsor events and support improvements around Augusta.
