AUGUST 27, 2020 (AUGUSTA, MO) – The Augusta Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to announce its 8th Annual Fundraiser will be an online auction beginning on Saturday, November 7, 2020 with a “soft close” on Thursday, November 12, 2020, and will also consist of raffle sales sold by our students.
Raffle winners will be drawn during a Facebook Live event on November 7, 2020. Be sure to “like” our Augusta PTO page to stay informed of our progress! The first seven years of our fundraising efforts consisted of a dinner auction event (and raffles), but due to the current coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the PTO has decided to switch to an online auction platform rather than the dinner event for this upcoming school year. We are pleased to be able to secure Dunker Auctions to coordinate their online auction services.
The Augusta Elementary PTO is excited to once again have the Gold Level Sponsors of Peoples Savings Bank (www.ourpsb.com), and Hedrick Brothers Roofing (www.hedrickbrothersroofing.com and on Facebook).
Within the first seven years, and with the kind and generous support from the community, the PTO has raised over $136,000 to be put toward technological enhancements, classroom improvements, and playground improvements for all of the deserving students at Augusta Elementary School, located within the School District of Washington, Missouri.
