Darlene Brinkmann

Darlene B. Brinkmann of Schluersburg, Missouri, passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 81.
Darlene Brinkmann Obit pic edited.pngDarlene was born on July 22, 1942, the daughter of Andrew and Luella Maschmeier. She was the beloved wife of Ewald Brinkmann, who passed away in 2017. Darlene grew up and lived in Schluersburg all of her life, she loved the quiet country lifestyle of living in Schluersburg. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, playing the “family marble game,” and spending quality time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She looked forward to the annual trips to Branson, MO, where she and the girls would go shopping and spend quality girl time together. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Darlene is survived by her son, Jeff A. (Amy) Brinkmann of Schluersburg, MO; daughter, Diane (Donnie) Jasper of Washington, MO; sister, Carol Kleine; 5 grandchildren, Jesse, Emily, and Jaclyn Brinkmann and Zachery and Austin Jasper; 2 great-grandchildren (and one soon to arrive.) She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Luella Maschmeier; husband, Ewald Oliver Brinkmann; and brother, Virgil Kleine.

Visitation: Friday, March 29, 2024, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO 63385.
Funeral: Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
Interment: Bethany UCC Cemetery, 1533 Schluersburg Rd., Augusta, MO 63332.
