Janet L. Heitgerd of Augusta, MO, passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 78.
Janet was born in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Wilson and Ardith Cross. She is survived by her son, Jason Heitgerd of Augusta, MO; brother, Randy Cross; sister, Renee (Andy) Burkemper; four nieces and nephews, Sheldon Cross, Caden Cross, Hannah (Warren) Hutchins, and Brian Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger, and her brother, Kevin Cross. She will be remembered with love and missed by all who knew her.
Funeral: Friday, June 5, at 12 p.m at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
