Jeffrey Richard Turpin

Jeffrey Richard Turpin of Jonesburg, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Turpin of Jonesburg; two daughters; Brenda Windmann and husband, Jason; Laura Petersmeyer and husband, Alex; all of Warrenton, MO; one grandchild, Alex Lopez; his mother, Mary Turpin of Foristell, MO; three siblings, Steve Turpin of Moscow Mills, MO, Timothy Turpin and wife, Stephanie of Troy, MO, and Patricia Koehler and husband, Chuck of Defiance, MO; his parents-in-law, Alvin Post Sr. and wife, Charmaine of Foristell, MO; five siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Sheehan and husband, Dennis of Fenton, MO, Dianne Almeling and husband, Tim of New Melle, MO, Alvin Post, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Union, MO, Carol Farley and husband, Kim of O’Fallon, MO, and Scott Post and wife, Sandy of O’Fallon, MO; many other relatives, and many friends.

Jeffrey Richard Turpin was born April 20, 1960 in Troy, Missouri; son of Richard Scott Turpin and wife, Mary Louise Fanning Turpin. Jeffrey was united in marriage to Miss Barbara Post and two daughters were born to this marriage. Jeff retired after 30+ years for Carpenter’s Union Local #32. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Jonesburg; currently the President of the Church Council, treasurer of the Warren County 4-H Shooting Sports, and on the Warren County Fair Board. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, and was always open to helping others when asked.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Richard Turpin, one brother, Gregory Turpin, and nephew, Tayler Turpin. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation: Monday, June 28, 2021, 1-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO. Memorial Mass: Tuesday, June 29, 2021, 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 405 S. Church Street, Wentzville, MO 63385.
