Willard L. Allen passed away at his home in Wentzville, MO, on April 4, 2022, at the age of 84.
He was the beloved husband of Charlotte (Jungermann) Allen of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his wife, two children, Craig M. (Chris) Allen of Warrenton, MO, Jeffery L. (Lisa) Allen of O'Fallon, MO; two step-sons, Dale W. (Ginny) Stevener of North Little Rock, AR, Mike L. (Kelly) Stevener of Defiance, MO; eight grandchildren; Jeremy, Jessica, Tyler, Tommy, Julia, Jenna, Mary, and Malery; five step-grandchildren; Tyson, Mat, Courtney, Melissa, and Jordan; son-in-law, Doug Bales of Josephville, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Willard proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #323 in Wentzville, MO. He owned and operated a barbershop in Florissant, MO, for over 40 years and went on to work with Bruce Groeper at a barbershop in Warrenton, MO. Willard had many hobbies and interests, including going for boat rides, traveling, playing golf, playing Hand Foot card game, and deer hunting, where he earned the nickname "one-shot Will" from deer camp.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Glenda (McAllister) Allen, former spouse, Patricia M. (Ross) Allen, daughter, Victoria A. Bales, brother, Wilford Ray Allen, Jr., sister, JoAnn Campbell; step-grandson, Patrick. Willard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by family and friends.
