Robert Clemens Vehige of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on September 17, 2023, at 77.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kari (Jeremy) Jacquin of Wentzville, MO, Karla (Ray) Roentz of Grafton, IL; twelve siblings, Rita (John) Panke, Elaine Feldmann, Denny Vehige, Bonnie (Todd) Bristow, Mary (Dave) Fetsch, Kathy (John) Lorkowski, Joyce Moors, Rich (Carla) Vehige, Theresa (Tom) Schulte, Frank (Kelly) Vehige, Monica (Jim) Benedict, Mike (Margaret) Vehige; grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, Rocho, Robert, Loretta; He is preceded in death by his father, Clemens Vehige; mother, Agnes (Stahlschmidt) Vehige; sister, Ann Vehige; niece, Makayla Vehige; brothers-in-law, Mike Moors, Dave Feldmann.
Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; while serving, he was a member of the Army's Meteorological team. Since he was a young boy, Bob has always been interested in cars; he was a car enthusiast and especially loved Corvettes. He was an active participant of Mid-America Raceway in Wentzville. Bob was co-owner/operator of Vehige Enterprise Inc. Bob was a farmer by trade and loved raising cattle on the family farm. Bob enjoyed playing baseball and softball, trapping with his brother Denny, and he was one of the St. Louis Cardinals' biggest fans. If there was a game on, he wouldn't miss watching it on TV or listening to it on the radio. He was a member of the Wentzville American Legion Post 323. Bob had 28 nieces and nephews and 46 great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral: Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church-Wentzville, 405 S. Church St., Wentzville, MO 63385.
Interment: Eternal Peace Cemetery, 1015 East Pitman Ave., Wentzville, MO 63385.
