Sheree (Schuman) Grapenthin

Sheree (Schuman) Grapenthin passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 68 years.

Sheree was born in 1955 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles, MO, the daughter of the late William R. Schuman, Sr., and Betty L. (Lee) Schuman. Originally, she lived in Florissant, MO until moving to Wentzville, MO at the age of 10 and currently resides in the Wentzville area. She and Mike were married on January 8, 1977, they had two children, Katie and Todd. Sheree was very active in the construction and church community. She loved going to the farm with her family, fishing with her grandkids and going on vacation with her family. Time spent with her family, especially her grandkids, was always her favorite. She has always had a love for horses and was raised showing Hackney and Roadster Ponies with her family. Sheree had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, she loved helping others, no questions asked and expected nothing in return.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Grapenthin of Wentzville, MO; two children, Katie (Grapenthin) Tallis and her husband Mike, along with their three children, Riley, Kaden, and Charlee Tallis; her son, Todd Grapenthin and his wife Andrea (Avis) Grapenthin, along with their two children, Chance and Ellie Grapenthin; her brother, William “Bill” R. Schuman, Jr. and Vicki McVey and Bill's daughter, Amy Schuman; her sister, Kathy (Schuman) Joerling and her husband, Paul, along with their two children, Nick and Bobbi Jo (Pogrelis) Joerling and Brad and Jill (Joerling) Duggan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. Schuman, Sr., mother, Betty L. (Lee) Schuman.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 20, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cedar Lake Cellars in the Barrel Room with a special tribute to Sheree at 4 p.m.
